為愛犧牲一切，
服從你的心；
朋友，親戚，時日，
名譽，財產，
計畫，信用與靈感，
什麼都能放棄。
它是一個勇敢的主人，
讓它儘量發揮：
無條件地跟從它，
絕望之後又抱著希望：
它高高地，更高地
躍入日上中天的正午，挾著
不知疲倦的翅膀-----
帶著說不盡的意向；
但它是一個神，
知道它自己的途徑，
與天空的一切出路。
它從來不為粗鄙的人而在；
它需要堅強的毅力，
絕對可靠的精神，
不屈的勇敢，
它會報償我們，
毅力可以帶回來，
更多的東西，而且
永遠向上直升。
為愛離棄一切；
然而，你聽我說：你的心
應當再聽我說一句，
你的努力還要再加一把勁，
你需要保留今天，
明天，你整個的未來，
讓它們絕對自由，
不要被你的愛人佔領。
拼命抱住那姑娘不放鬆；
然而一旦她年輕的心中
別有所歡----
她模糊地揣測著，
自己也感到詫異----
你還她自由，只當她從未戀愛過；
你不要拖住她的裙幅，也不要拾起
她從她花冠上擲下的
最蒼白的一朵玫瑰。
雖然你愛她，把她當自己一樣，
把她當作一個較純潔的自己，
雖然她離去了使日月無光，
使一切生物都失去了美麗，
你應當知道
半人半神走了，
神就來了。
Give All To Love
Give all to love;

Friends, kindred, days,
Estate, good fame,
Plans, credit, and the muse;
Nothing refuse.
'Tis a brave master,
Let it have scope,
Follow it utterly,
Hope beyond hope;
High and more high,
It dives into noon,

As a self of purer clay,

Stealing grace from all alive,

When half-gods go,
The gods arrive.
